Lake Starnberg - Though the town of Starnberg counts some 22,000 citizens only it is amazing how well-known the lake of the same name is. Once a royal retreat it is a fast and easy option to get away from the urban bustle of Munich which is about 25k away. Politicians and celebrities especially enjoy the beauty and tranquility of this area.
